This is what my 5 year old nephew asked me while I was showing him how the leaves are just about to come out on the trees. I love Spring. It’s one of my favourite seasons. The leaves to me are a sure sign of Spring and that Summer is close behind. This season is a great reminder of how when things look really bleak and colorless, there are always huge changes happening just beneath the surface. We may not see them right away but they're on their way. We're about to be rewarded from all the work we've done in the past. We just need to have patience.

Spring is also when we get into the mood for "Spring Cleaning" which means getting rid of the clutter and old things (including thoughts and ideas) we no longer need anymore. It's a time to focus on new beginnings and new journeys.

For me, it's also a time to look forward to the future. One filled with summer holidays, enjoying the sun, barbecues, and just trying new things. It's a season of hope, excitement, and bright new colours which is why I think I like it so much.

And for my nephew, well Spring is when the bugs come out so that he can catch them in his bug kit and examine them with a magnifying glass. He's ready and waiting for them.

Here’s an example of what you'll see when you click on the links: Life Quote. I’ve only done a few for now. Let me know if there’s a quote you’d really like to print and I’ll do that one next.
